Teddy Bridgewater is staying in New Orleans.According to a report from ESPN, which cited unidentified league sources, the fifth-year quarterback is expected to re-sign with the Saints. However, it didn’t come without some drama. Bridgewater, who lives in Miami, visited the Dolphins on Wednesday. He was then traded to New Orleans ahead of the start of the regular season and eventually got in some work in Week 17 after the Saints clinched the top seed in the NFC playoffs, though he put on a lackluster performance as he finished 14 of 22 for 118 yards.While Bridgewater’s comeback campaign could be put on hold, his learning experience under veteran Drew Brees is sure to pay off.
